"It's. . .happening!" Alas, no one says that line. The title makes it sound like a groovy, druggy 60s films, but it's really a very glum, very dull, very inane apocalyptic sci-fi film from M. Night Sixth Sense, who has pretty much sucked since that movie. The premise isn't half-bad, but the execution is painfully tedious, poorly acted (by normally good actors), and pretentious without being in the least bit smart. It's not even bad funny. "Day of the Triffids" (the book) is a better example of nature gone wild, as is "The World Without Us."
