As an audience member that is generally interested in science-revolving plots, I really enjoyed this particular movie as the producers showcased the possibilities of what might happen at the time of extreme overpopulation and how that may affect people, especially families. I truly loved the backstory of the crisis and how GMOs were created specifically to help reduce overpopulation but ended up increasing its rates because the GMOs enabled women to have more multiple pregnancies. Moving past the insignificant yet excessive details and subplots, I found myself extremely interested in the original mock pieces of technology that were created for the film, such as the blueprint of the personalized safe home the 7 sisters lived in and the CAB gadgets. The quite innovative concept about the inhuman yet necessary solution to uncontrollably spiking rates of overpopulation that the producers of “7 Sisters” introduced was well-thought-out and detailed, which deserves a great amount of recognition for. Overall, I was pleased with this recently published movie and I’d recommend it to mature audiences looking for a thrilling yet meaningful film. Rating 3.5/5 - @BiggerPictureReviews of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library In a world where no more than one child should be born to a couple, 7 identical sisters fight to stay alive but in the dark, by disguising themselves as the same person. I must say, it was a sad and unfortunate close look at the possible future we might all have to endure. It was an indirect reminder of how cautious and thoughtful we really have to be in order to prevent our future from consisting of lies, mass-laboratories, and never ending, never working solutions. It was a psychotic but stunning play on reality. If you’re searching for a jaw dropping thriller, 7 Sisters is an action-packed, captivating, and beautifully wrapped together movie that I would undoubtedly recommend.
