The Woman in the Window by A. J. Finn was probably one of the best thrillers I have ever read (not exaggerating). At first when I saw the title, it reminded me of the book The Girl on the Train, because both titles were just a short description of the main characters, and when I read the summary I was shocked! It sounded exactly like the The Girl on the Train and I was preparing myself to read the same book twice. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the differences in both books. I found The Girl on the Train to be very slow-moving in the beginning, but The Woman in the Window was fast-paced and so suspenseful. I was literally gripping the book while wearing a concentrated expression from the middle of the book and on. I just couldn’t put the book down. Considering this was Finn’s debut novel, it was pretty amazing and mysterious. By the time I was at the end of the book, I wished that I could somehow reread the book and enjoy it all over again. I definitely give this book 5/5 stars and recommend it to readers ages 16 and up. @ilovebooks of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
