It bothers me that none of the "creative talent" involved are either aware of or acknowledge the fact that this is a rip-off/homage to the John Wayne classic western "The Sons of Katie Elder". At least they didn't on any of the vastly unwatchable, self-congratulatory "extras" included. The Movie was enjoyable if predictable (I've seen it before but with horses), a rollicking, lightheart-oh, I'm thinking of something else. A bleak, stark, urban shoot 'em up, situated in bleak, stark, urban Detroit but shot in bleak, stark, urban Toronto; where else but in this go-to locale for gritty, stark US urban violence, deceit and revenge? It kept my interest though they could have pared the hockey game and I wouldn't have minded. "Four Brothers" is good mindless fun which boasts a great soundtrack: lots of Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and The Undisputed Truth's "Smiling Faces" at an obvious but suitable scene... "Beware of the handshake which hides the snake..."
