Thoroughly enjoyable! A highly wound chef has a major meltdown that not only gets posted on the Internet, but leads to his firing and a road trip to recapture his dreams. This movie provides a rare example of healthy male bonding over friendship, family, food, and passing on life skills to another generation. His unfamiliarity with Twitter/social media provides some very funny moments. Emjay Anthony does a great job of playing his estranged 10-year old son, who slowly comes to trust his father again. John Leguizamo, as his best friend, channels the best of Cuban culture and true-blue friendship. Minor disappointment in Sofia Vergara, whose character doesn’t get fully developed. P.S. Do not watch this film if you're hungry: food plays a major and delicious role.
