This movie is set during World War Two, where Jewish soldiers decide to take it upon themselves to enter Germany and personally kill each and every Nazi that they come across. In the process, they encounter a German actress and a theatre owner who joins them on their quest to bring down the Third Reich. The movie manages to approach such a serious topic in a very comedic way, while also being respectful and fairly true to real-life. The performances are very well done and the overall premise is strange but dynamic and bold. I would rate this movie 4.5/5 stars, and recommend it to those who enjoy humour and gore. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library

For laughs only....barely.

Lots of action but the plot is not believable.

This is the original, 1978, version. Not Tarintino's version.

Inglourious Basterds was an absolutely amazing experience. I do not want to say too much about it, because part of the movie's magic is seeing it with as little knowledge of the picture as possible. All I'll say is that I was extremely pleased with just about every aspect of the film. Christoph Waltz deserved his Oscar win.
