I liked the book. It was a quick read. I enjoyed the description of all of the exotic locations around the world. This story was a typical Sigma Force novel with crazy-tight deadlines to stay ahead of the bad guys, ties to ancient history, and lots of action. I do question how Gray Pierce is such an expert on everything that he can at least keep up with a world-known expert on the Greek Dark Ages. I also found all of the 1000 year old nuclear-powered automatons stretched credibility a more than usual. The tie-ins to Homer's Odyssey and to all of the Greek myths was interesting. I wish the author would have slowed down the scenes with lots of fast moving action enough to provide better descriptions of what was going on, the surroundings, etc. I felt like he was in too much of a hurry and rushed the story more than necessary.
