Rebel Ghost tells a story based on the exploits of General John Mosby, a confederate cavalry leader known as The Grey Ghost of the Confederacy. Something was wrong -- very wrong. A faint alarm arose within the Ranger. Major John Mosby, commander of the 43rd Battalion of Confederate Rangers, knew the Yankee soldiers usually tied their horses with a slipknot for quick release. He pulled the rope again, and again he failed to free it. He started to turn to whisper a warning when suddenly he heard a voice from the shadows. Mosby's hands reached for a gun, but before he could grip his weapon he felt the muzzle of a musket jammed into his spine. And in a flash, there was a ring of Yankees surrounding him.
