""From New York Times bestselling author and "grand master of the game" (The Providence Journal) J.A. Jance, an electrifying new thriller featuring Ali Reynolds. After taking down the man responsible for his best friend's death, Stuart Ramey thinks the case is finally closed. This was a sequel to Man Overboard and continued the story of an A1 called Frigg. It was a great easy read.

Not my type of read. Water damage prior to my check out.

I've been reading J A Jance since the first Beaumont book, and look forward to reading about almost all of her characters. Her style of writing differs with each series, and Ali Reynolds is easily the most sprightly of her series'. That makes it quick to read, but she packs a lot of plot into this latest book. Computers, murders, and cartels as well as the usual stalwart characters make good story. Jance has the writing chops to make it all a very pleasant read. Now off I go to find the latest Joanna Brady novel.

I thought Jance made up all the computer terms and action in this story. Afterwards I Googled the terms and found out she really knew what she was talking about! Everything does exsists except 100% Frigg the AI as portrayed. Great story and educational lesson in computers.

Judith Lance always provided a reliably good read. Fresh ideas, nothing too taxing for the brain, likeable characters, and plenty of action. Jane books have been my travel companions since she started the Joanna Brady series way back when, and they are still the titles I choose if one I have yet to read is available. This one took me to Washington DC and back.

In this adventure, the team is still dealing with the aftermath of serial killer and brilliant IT mind, Owen Hansen. His AI, Frigg, looks as though she may be joining the team on a permanent basis if Stuart can eliminate her illegal abilities. Her personality, and yes she has one, adds something unusual to the team, and it is good to see the evolution of Stuart 2.0.
