Believe me - I'm really trying to be fair here, but I thought that the entire Douglas family (Steve, Mike, Robbie, Chip, & "Bub") were all a bunch of annoying jerks. I didn't like any of these characters.

I find it hard to believe that this lame, TV Sit-Com, from the 1960s, actually lasted for 12 seasons.

Whoever scripted this show was a moron. They turned every reasonably acceptable situation into an absurd, unfunny dud where all I could do was roll my eyes to the ceiling and groan in agony at the stupidity of it all.

This was one of those rare TV shows where the family dog, Tramp, was just as stupid and clueless as its owners. I'm not kidding!

Clean, family-friendly fun movies. From a time when men were men and boys were taught to treat women like ladies. The series ran for 12 seasons (from 1960 to 1972), but, unfortunately, CLEVNET only has 2 seasons. (Maybe if patrons suggest they would purchase more seasons?) Some episodes of the 2nd season are way too silly, but do not detract from the entire season. I especially enjoyed the grandfather played by William Frawley; his no-nonsense approach to life is so refreshing in our modern PC world! (I highly advise PC viewers to stay far away from this series, by the way; I don’t know if they could survive a single episode without suffering a cardiac arrest!) Fred MacMurray was never my favorite actor, yet he is perfect as the dedicated, hard-working father. Chip Douglas makes me think of my brother when small, gallivanting about and always up to some (minor) mischief. Highly recommend it, especially to kids and teenagers, so they can how fun life can be when you really are and act like a kid!
