An illustrated celebration of Grace Kelly, one of Hollywoods brightest stars, is already long overdue. This book will also coincide with two significant anniversaries: 2006 sees 50 years since she married Prince Rainier and 2007 is the 25th anniversary of her death.

The book will include a detailed biography and over 160 pictures and contact sheets, many of which are reproduced for the first time.

Hand-written documents and famous quotes on and from Grace Kelly complement impressive iconographic research (family pictures, national archives, private collections, press agencies, newspapers). Also included are images and contact sheets from prestigious photographers, all of which give us a highly individual portrait of a cinematic legend.

Between the years of 1950-1956 - The delicately pretty, Grace Kelly was, undeniably, one of Hollywood's most bankable actresses, bar none.

During her rather brief film career she became one of director, Alfred Hitchcock's favourite leading ladies, as he starred her in 2 of his most famous films of the time - "Dial M For Murder" and "Rear Window".

This book titled "A Life In Pictures" offers the reader a treasury of images of Kelly that span from her childhood, to her early modelling career, and, then, of course, onto her film roles.

Sad to say - On September 14, 1982 - Grace Kelly (52 at the time) suffered a stroke while driving back to Monaco and subsequently died in the crash that followed.
