Who do you trust? Can you even trust yourself after your memories have been erased? Less action and more processing, but Cia kept me reading.

A solid sequel to The Testing.

I read this in just a couple of days - which, given my schedule, pretty much means I couldn't put it down.

if you like this, read Eve by Anna Carey, Slated by Teri Terry, or All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin

I like this book a lot but it wasn't as exciting to me as the first. There wasn't as much action and it was mostly just about Cia and the university. I hope the next book will be a bit better but I still liked it.

I liked the suspense in this book but got really upset when one of my favorite main characters dies. A really important, nice character!!! I finished this book in a few hours. It was that good. I can't wait for the next one. Unfortunately I am number 11. I know that I will go back and reread this book just like I did with the last one. It is still really intriguing. More so than the hunger games. I just hope that like the hunger games, Cia gets her happy ending. This book has a good lesson though. We shouldn't kill. If we do then it will haunt us for the rest of our lives. Cia and Tomas learned that lesson the hard way. While Cia only killed in self defense, she still regrets what she did. There are more lessons to learn in other books. We just have to keep our eyes wide open and never stop exploring. I loved this book and if someone somehow manages not to then I will be amazed. And no, I am not an adult and I am not trying to give a speech. I am just saying what I felt. That is one of the best ways to write. Or so I've heard.....

I was torn between wanting to turn the pages and wanting to prolong the read. CIA is overwhelmed which in turn makes the reader feel overwhelmed. It's a really well-done sequel. Everything that's loved about the first is duplicated and surpassed in this second one.
