A wonderful read! I felt such kinship with the main character as she and I are both 29, embarking into our 30s and how best to navigate a new age. The art is lovely and the main character is believable, mistakes and all. If you're a fan of…

This book BLEW me away! I couldn't put it down. The absolute perfect unity of sci fi, graphics, and human behaviour/error. Brilliantly illustrated.

Very cute. I'm newer to Graphic Novels, so I'm reading all genres and such. I'm having fun, and "Seconds" was no exceptions. One can only wish to be able to have a re-do on a day in their life.

What would you do if you could have a do-over on a day of your life? Similar to "Groundhog day" - Katie only wants things to be perfect in her life, but she finds that there are consequences....

I couldn't put it down! It was my first graphic novel by this author and I'm going to have to check out more of his work. The story starts off deceptively non-chalant, and much like my experience reading Nimona, it takes a more intense…

Seconds is one of the best graphic novels you will ever read. Bryan Lee O'Malley delivers on a witty story with a strong core message while your eyes are delighted by the fantastic illustrations and emotional colour.

You won't regret reading it. You will probably enjoy it. Nothing special. There were some funny moments, but some trite ones as well. Meh: it was OK.

This graphic novel plays with the theme of seconds in a number of ways. Katie is working at one restaurant, but also trying to open a second one. Her food is so delicious, everyone wants seconds. She's casually seeing one guy, but still…

I love all the supernatural elements in this story. Katie is very funny and relatable. Scott Pilgrim fans should definitely read it!

I like how it starts in the beginning—two mysterious characters chatting in a room grabs my attention. The art is neat and cute. The story is mainly about a talented girl who has a big dream of opening a new restaurant, but her life…

Loved reading this! Just finished the Scott Pilgrim series and wanted to check out some more of O'Malley's work. I absolutely loved his use of bold colours and sharp lines, his witty jokes, and the moral "there are things we can't change,…

Quick but very fun read! Charming, witty, a little ridiculous sometimes and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy by the end. Would definitely recommend this!

When chef Katie wants to change things in her life, she learns, the hard way, the shortcut isn't the way to do it. If you could write down how you want things to go, eat a real magic mushroom, and wake up the next day to your new reality,…

Another charming read from Bryan Lee O'Malley. The seamless integration of fantasy elements with everyday struggles that the reader can relate to on a personal level make his works something truly special. I adore the unique art style…

O'Malley's greatest strength lies in his ability to combine the fantastic with the mundane. Katie may have gained an incredible ability, but O'Malley grounds her with the same issues of self-doubt and uncertainty that any regular person…

This book plays out like a modern fairy tale - Katie, a chef who is dissatisfied with her life, uses magic to change the past. Of course, everything goes wrong. Great artwork, compelling story. Love it!

O'Malley is famous for Scott Pilgrim, and truth be told I was expecting something pretty similar. But Seconds is its own thing, so good on him for that. Katie is a chef whose second restaurant should be opening soon... but then things…

I'm a huge Scott Pilgrim fan and this didn't quite live up to that series for me (definitely an issue of personal preference rather than quality) but I did end up really liking Seconds. It definitely spoke to disgruntled twenty-something…
