This one grabs your attention right from the first chapter and leans a little more toward the old classic Koontz.

This was unsettling at times but very impactful. It is considered fiction but it felt like a memoir. I thought it was excellent.

The style felt a little different in this one, but it was still a twisty, fun and fast reading fix.

You don't need to be a Reagan fan to enjoy this book. He is an interesting, honorable man in his own right before and during the political part of his life. Not a perfect book but worth reading if you enjoy biographies. Not a lot of personal opinion from the author. Just the facts, which was a refreshing break from our current news feed. You don't need to be a Reagan fan to enjoy this book. This book contains many of the same ideas and themes from King's other books. Nothing new or interesting there. But I still love the way he can pull you inside a character's head. I always enjoy his books.

Really good and fairly suspenseful. A good urban fantasy that creates a fantasy world just outside the realization of the real world. I'm looking forward to the next book.

A great book if you like to be challenged with a lot of clues. I really liked the character of the coroner and thought she added a lot to the story.

This book has a complex page turning plot. The author has a knack for taking a nasty gangster type character and making him just human enough that the reader can invest in him.

This is a story about the effects of technology in our lives. The writing is very plain and the characters were simple but it was witty, and I thought it was well paced and the subject matter was very thought provoking. It won't be my favourite book of the year but I'm glad I read it.This is a story about the effects of technology in our lives. A gothic piece of historical fiction that deals with "Musicos" or those who are castrated for the sake of the voice. There were parts of this book that were uncomfortable to read but overall it was a very good story about love, loyalty and the influence of music.A gothic piece of historical fiction that deals with "Musicos" or those who are castrated for the sake of the voice.
